A few words about me

My name is Benjamin Vozmediano, and I am a Holistic Wellness Coach. For the past 15 years, I've been providing my skills in mental health, movement, nutrition, and mindfulness to clients worldwide so they can reach their highest potential. My expertise is all about identifying and simplifying certain behaviors.

More about me

I was born in Solna, Sweden, in 1978 to a Swedish mother and a Spanish father.

Growing up, I realized I was more curious and had more energy than other kids, which my teachers weren't particularly fond of. Sometimes, I spent more time outside than inside the classroom. Too much of a disturbance was the reason for that.

Back then, I could allocate my high energy to different sports. Basketball became my favorite, and I played up to an elite level. I quit in my early twenties and became stagnant. I got a new job where I sat down the entire day, eating more junk food and getting sloppier. I felt sluggish and unfocused. I realized I had to do something.

Because of that, I decided to pick up strength training in the gym. It taught me that when I put my body and mind through some strenuous form of exercise, my concentration and focus were on point. I took my undiagnosed ADD and instead developed an ADA: Attention Deficit Advantage.

The more I experimented with all kinds of exercise forms and different ways of eating, the more interested I became in optimizing my body and mind. The positive impact this had on me led me to pursue a career as a Holistic Wellness Coach.

Along the way, I met my biggest challenge in life up to this day: Depression. I've probably been in most of the darkest holes and places that exist in a human brain, where the amount of light was the size of a breadcrumb, to the point of being suicidal countless times.

I didn't want to understand, acknowledge, and accept my depression. At all costs, I was trying to avoid that. One solution was fleeing it — My escape mechanism was partying, alcohol, drugs, and women. The other solution was battling and fighting it — Only to get smacked down by it every single time. I could not win, no matter how much I tried.

Driven by a deep desire to overcome the adversity of my depression, I got to a point where I realized I was either going to end my life or I had to do something about it.

In 2015, I went deep into the jungle of the Amazon Rainforest, where I had my first psychedelic encounter with Ayahuasca. Later on, I started working with San Pedro and Psilocybin Mushrooms. These plant medicines expanded my consciousness, bringing me love, gratitude, compassion, understanding, and acceptance on a whole other level. They have given me invaluable tools to implement into my daily life.

My purpose in life has become more clarified after working with so many clients, from 1-on-1 training sessions to online coaching to living with clients full time. Combine that with all the experience of my own personal struggles and battles, my plant medicine journeys, and my enormous passion for helping other people.

"How will you serve the world? What do they need that your talent can provide? That's all you have to figure out... I can tell you from experience, the effect you have on others is the most valuable currency there is."
- Jim Carrey

My life is a never-ending work in progress, and my curiosity has led me to where I am today. I am constantly seeking knowledge to help me optimize my health in the best way possible so I can help others do the same.

I am here to be of service.
